When last we left off, I was about to start messing about with the unstable forces of nature. Clearly, this will be a breeze and nothing will go wrong and in no time flat I’ll have a beautiful city with a lovely set of canals, right?

So, when we left off, Not-Verona was a quaint little town with a fairly standard layout of RECTANGULAR BOXES and a burgeoning farming industry. Now, it’s time to keep growing and developing, with an eye on making enough money to get this canal project started.
By popular demand, (lol) and due to a lack of streaming options, I have decided to undertake a fun little experiment where I write and screenshot a let’s play of Cities: Skylines. And since my first two cities were such sparkling successes, (don’t mind the traffic and the nightmarish social controls) I’ve decided to ramp up the difficulty.
We’re doing canals!
They flood, they cost bundles, they’re a logistical nightmare, and they are completely and utterly non-functional, what’s not to love?
